Snack Attack

Creamy Bean and Bacon Ranch Dip

Most kids love Ranch dressing and bacon. White beans? Not so much. But when you combine all three, you get an irresistible, protein-packed snack.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients
One 15-ounce can Great Northern or other white beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon powdered Ranch dip mix
6 strips packaged pre-cooked bacon, microwaved until crisp, finely chopped

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, mash beans with a potato masher into coarse puree (or mash against the side of a bowl with the back of large spoon).

2. Stir in sour cream, mayonnaise and Ranch mix until well combined. Add bacon.

3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

4. Serve with favorite raw veggies and crackers or chips.
